The Wave
This is called 'the wave'. It's a pretty awesome technique I came up by myself, and it gives you a totally cool background effect. So when done, your background will look like this:
Step 1: Open up PSP and open a 100 x 100 picture.
Step 2: Click 'B' on your keyboard and then match your brush settings to mine:
Click here to see brush settings. (The picture is long and stretches the page)
Step 3: Then draw a bunch of lines of similar color (doesn't matter which color, though I chose blue) and use the brush to draw them all over so you get something that looks like this:
Step 4: Next go to Effects >> Distortion Effects >> Wave. Once done that Make the ampitudes on both sides '12' and make the Wavelength '2'. Cool effect huh? You can stop here, but you can do more if you wish.
Step 5: Go to Adjust >> Blur >> Gaussion Blur and change the radius to 5. You can fiddle it around s'more but that's about it! ^^
