Neopets has released several collectible sidebars over the course of the last few years. Users can switch to most of them at will, allowing them to break the monotony of the plain old yellow sidebar. They can be unlocked in a variety of ways, similar to avatars. Here's a listing of all the sidebars currently available.

Neopets Yellow


	How to Get This sidebar is the default; everyone has it.

Haunted Woods


	Release Date October 31, 2004 How to Get You must refresh anywhere on Neopets between 11:59 PM and midnight NST on Halloween (that is, between 11:59 PM on October 31st and 12:00 AM on November 1st). The only other way to receive this sidebar was to have won a past Random Contest, in which you had to design a pumpkin.

Birthday


	Release Date November 15, 2004 How to Get This sidebar is not unlockable - it is only available on Neopets' birthday (November 15) and on your own birthday. When you have this sidebar, it overrides all other sidebars, and it also gives you more Random Events.

Winter


	Release Date February 5, 2005 How to Get This is obtainable on the last day of December via the Advent Calendar. According to Neopets, you must meet certain requirements in order to receive it on that day. It is still unknown as to what exactly those requirements are.

Happy Valentine's Day!


	Release Date February 14, 2005 How to Get You must send or receive the item A Mysterious Valentines Card on Valentine's Day (February 14). If you send one to someone, you and that person will both receive the sidebar. If you receive a Card, you will receive the sidebar.

Curse of Maraqua


	Release Date June 14, 2005 How to Get You must have received at least 1 point in the Curse of Maraqua war. Visit here to purchase the sidebar.

Space Faerie Premium


	Release Date Unknown How to Get This is a gift for referring 5 paying people to Neopets Premium. If you cancel your subscription, you will lose this sidebar.

Qasalan


	Release Date January 30, 2006 How to Get You must have completed at least one step in the Lost Desert Plot. Visit here to receive the sidebar.

Altador Cup


	Release Date July 5, 2006 How to Get You must have received at least 1 point in the Curse of Maraqua war. Visit here to purchase the sidebar.

Cyodrake's Gaze


	Release Date September 14, 2006 How to Get You must have guessed two or more answers correctly in the Cyodrake's Gaze plot (that includes the "Hoban's hat" freebie).
