So you've seen all those snazzy profiles people have out there. Well, they do that by editing their profile. Now I know you're probably wondering how the heck you do that. It's very simple actually. However, below I will tell you what you can edit, and how to edit it. Maybe then you'll have a better idea of how to make yourself look more appealing, or at least your profile.

How to Edit
First off, is how to edit. You need to know where to go to change things in order to make any difference. In order to get to editing your profile, you must go to "My account". Once you get there, you will see a list of links below.


After you've reached that, you must then click "Modify Account Information". That will then take you to a whole new section for you to gawk at. Though it might look confusing, it's really not. Things are laid out very simply for you to do, so just follow with me. :)

• Username - This notifies you what your user name is. If you do not see your user name here, please sign out and sign back in again. Most likely someone else used the computer you used.
• Current Password - Every time you make any changes to your profile, you must enter your current password. If you don't, the changes you've made won't stay, and you'll have to do it all over again.
• New/Confirm Password - If you for any reason would ever like to change you password, this is how you do it. Though the "confirm" is just for you to make sure you're entering the right password. You must enter the password twice.
• Interests - In this section, there are three drop boxes for you to choose from. You may choose any of them, or all three. Inside the boxes are a list of activities you might like. Select whichever ones you'd like.
• Date of Birth - This states whatever birthday you entered when you first started out with neopets.
• Gender - This tells whether you're a boy or a girl. (In case you didn't know; female=girl male=boy)
• Country - Here is where you select whichever country you're from. If you're from the U.S.A. you must select a state as well. US State- Like said above, if you live in the US you must select a state of residence.
• Zip/Postal Code - Here is where your zip code is. This is private, and no one else ever sees it besides you.
• About Me - Ah, the fun section. This is where you can edit your profile, and make it look all snazzy. Of course, you need to know CSS/HTML in order for you to change much. Though, if you don't, you can just use some of our pre-made layouts, or you can just enter some nice information about yourself. Honestly, you can put whatever you see fit in this section.

Important Things

• You must always always put your current password in to change anything. If you don't, nothing will be changed.
• About Me has a set character limit. That means that you only have 4000 things to use. Everything counts towards this, spaces, letters, numbers, everything.
• If you select "Clear Description", everything in your About Me will disappear. So be sure to only use this if you really want to. -Once you're finished with everything, and you want to change it. Select "Change Your Details", and it'll be finished. If you want to get rid of everything you just changed, select "Undo Changes".

Well that sums up editing your profile. There really isn't much to it, and it's really not that hard. So go on, and edit your profile now!
