Ever dreamed of dressing your pet? It is now possible with this new feature: Customisation!

The first thing you need, besides a pet, is clothing. Not all the clothing items can be used by your pet! Only a few of all the clothing items available are Wearable. The wearable items are those your pet can, as the name says, wear.
A nice sign appears on your inventory and SDB.

Remember that there are items only wearable by certain species. Most likely if a clothing was released on a pet day it will only be wearable by that pet.
Your pet can only wear the items that are on your closet. As soon as you buy an item it'll go to your inventory and from there you can use quick stock to put it on the closet. Only wearable items can go into the closet.

As soon as you have clothes on your closet you can click "Customise!" and dress up your pet. If you choose so a list of rules and tips will appear every time you open this page. However, we're still going to look on this page and see how you can customise your pet.
- Save the Changes you made to your pet. If you click here your pet will appear all dressed and pretty. ^-^
- Presets will give you a list of your pets (easy way to change the pet you're working with without going to Quick Reference) and their "presets". Presets will vary with the species and colour of your pet, but will always show you the "basic" ways of presenting it, with or without the clothes that its colour provides (we'll explore this later on)
- Revert will turn your pet "back to what it was" before the clothing experience
- Print
- Help will give you a page with everything explained

This is the preview of your pet. You can drag the clothes (see below) to your preview and see how they look like and then, if you like the effect, save the changes.

Here you can choose what items to see. First pick from the items that are on your closet, to be applied, or the items your pet is wearing (this will happen automatically if you click on a piece on your preview). You can narrow your search by species, applicable zones, rarity of the item or use the search box.

This will show the items based on your search. It will only show the items that your pet can wear. If you click on them you can see the details:

When you choose your item you can drag it to your pet and apply it to the correct zone.

And now you know how to dress your pet. Yay! =D (remember that you can't use the same clothing on different pets if one is already wearing it. For example, if my korbat is wearing a pandaphant doll I can't use it on my cybunny).
However, there is still the question: what clothes can I use?
There are many kinds of clothing on Neopia:
Regular Clothing
You can buy them on shops, either Neopian or User. Some of them are available on the Trading Post or Auction house. Others have to be bought at the NC Mall.
Paint Brush Clothing
This occurs when you paint your pet a certain colour, like Pirate and Royal. The clothes that your pet wears can't be taken off your closet (and therefore can't be sold) and will stay in it even if you paint your pet another colour.

From these there are also differences:
- General - Can be used by all pets (if an item can't be used by everyone at first TNT will inform the changes on their News page, so don't worry)
- Species - Normally released on that Pets day, they can be only be used by a certain species. Paint Brush Clothing also belongs to this kind.

Finally, there are the areas where each piece can be applied. You can experiment this, but here goes a list:
- Background - A picture for the background of your pet.
- Background Item - An item that stays behind your pet
- Backpack - Will go on their back
- Collar - Goes on their neck
- Earrings - Fashion stuff to your pets ears
- Foreground Item - An item that stays right next to your pet
- Glasses - Covers their eyes
- Gloves - Covers their hands/paws
- Hat - Goes over their head. Notice that some things that are supposed to be held by a pet go on their heads when they are standing on four.
- Hind Cover
- Jacket
- Left-hand Item - An item that is held.
- Markings - Like tattoos.
- Music - Music effects. They are only available through NC Mall.
- Necklace
- Right hand Item
- Shirts
- Shoes
- Sound Effects - Part of some NC Mall backgrounds
Trousers
- Wings - On the cases where the wings and arms are the same thing (like korbats and pteris) this difference is redundant.
