Set Site Preferences
Here you can update your preferences (more information see the Site Preferences guide), including Status, site Theme and Bandwidth Settings.

Pin Preferences
Here you can update your Pin Code. A Pin code is a protection number that you can have on certain locations, to prevent stealing if you ever have your account scammed.

Your pin must have four numbers. The areas where you can set a pin code can be selected on a check box and are:

• Neopian Bank
• Safety Deposit Box
• Shop Stock
• Unequip your pet (for pets equipped with expensive Battledome items)
• Gallery
• Pound
• E-mail Changes
• Stock Market

It's suggested that you set your pin code to all of these areas, to maximize your protection.

E-mail Preferences
Here you can set your E-mail preferences, including changing your e-mail. An e-mail can be shared by five accounts (a Main account and four Side accounts, where you can't play games or do anything that can win you neopoints) and you can set your preferences from any of them.

Neopets will send you varied e-mails regarding your preferences. You can choose not to receive some of them or any. The things that they may send you are:

• Send Friend - Be invited to neopets by receiving a Neopet. You can also send them to your friends.
• Birthday Notice - Receive a greeting from your neopets on your birthday
• Site Greetings - Receive the site cards from your friends
• Sponsor Greetings - Receive publicity cards
• Neolodge
• Neopets Merchandise
• News & Updates

Neopets

Quick Ref
On the Quick Ref you have the vital information on your pets. You can have up to four pets per account. Your main pet will be on the left and will be have the bigger picture. This is the pet that you'll play with most of the time and, normally, the one that receives more bonus.


The information on each pet informs you of their general state, from happiness to health and stats.



You can paint your pet different colours. Know more about this at Nutty Rainbow.

Stats, like Level, Health, Strength, defense, and Movement, can be increased if you want to fight at the Battledome. The Abilities and Equipment are also related to this. See our In-depth Battledome guide for more information regarding the battledome.

To feed your pet you can buy food at Neopia Central or obtain it freely. If your pet is sad, play with them with toys or take them for the Merry-go-Ride.

Neopets Descriptions

Edit Petpage
Each of your pets has a personal page where you can put whatever you like (according to Neopets Terms & Conditions)


On edit you can customise your petpage. You can reset your page to default, use the Neopets Html Guide or use a few quick tricks that TNT enumerated just for you before the edit box.

On view you'll be directly taken to your petpage.

Stats is an outdated page that supposedly shows how many hits your petpages have got.

Neofriends

Here is your Neofriend Directory. From here you can view your friends, by alphabetical order (and you can select which letter you want to see), add neofriends or update your Vips.

Vips are the friends that will appear on dropdown boxes through the site. If you don't have any very important person all your neofriends (limit of 50) will appear.
