The Haunted Woods has been pretty lonely (plotwise) in Neopia. There has never been a single plot located there, and to think - it was one of the first worlds, as well. Anyway, NNoN is here with this plot guide! Enjoy!

What may Happen?
Following the clues that the TCG gives us we suppose that something *nasty* will fall over a city on the Haunted Woods. This something may be a disease or a plague.
Important Items
Meowclops may be very important on this plot. They seem to have a role of protection and may represent the weird forces that will cause troubles around the Haunted Woods.
Also, the Wand of Wishing is referred on at least two of the cards. Can it be the solution for the plot? Carrying it will destroy the problem? Or maybe it was the first cause of the doom that is surrounding Haunted Woods?
Places
This plot may present a new place, probably the place where the action is going to occur. Neovia is its name and it seems pretty much our actual Haunted Woods. There is a very patent relation with the real world, as TNT always finds. This time their artist team seem to be based on the European XVII century, as places and clothes resemble pretty much the old European costumes.
Also, many facts point that Dr. Sloth and his mates may be involved in this plot. Are special beings coming to hurt Neopia again? Is Dr. Sloth back?
Characters
City Inhabitants
These may have a major role on the story. They will probably help the story progress. Some of them may even be important characters, if an adventure indoors is required.
Heroes will be people like Bruno and Reginald.
On the other hand, the bad guys will be people as Archos and Mr. Krawley.
Outside the City
It finally seems as if Sophie will see some action! She may be requested to “cure” the disease or the curse. She may also be related to the Meowclops.
Also there is a slight reference to the existence of… Gypsies? Maybe they will bring something new to the city. They can be either the solution or the problem…
Finally, our faerie. This plot faerie will certainly be Ilere. She seems a doomed earth faerie, maybe a fallen faerie. Seems that she used to be used to be a good character that turned evil due to an unknown vicissitude.
Start or Conclusion?
There are many ambiguous facts that let us space to imagine what’s going to happen. Maybe the plague used to be controlled and now it’s assaulting the city again… But maybe the Wand of Wishing caused all the problems and we are requiring control. All we know is that some kind of “taint” will fall over the Haunted Woods.
