Jelly Blobs of Doom - Gulp or be gulped!
Let's imagine there was a world made of jelly. Yes, yes, I know it's
preposterous, but indulge me.
There could be all kinds of pets in that world, and one of them's a
Chomby. A very hungry Chomby.
But it's not as easy as it sounds: Those jellies, they're fearsome,
giant killing machines!
Time for a little keyboard excercise!
Playing the Game
You control the Chomby with the arrow keys. Careful, though, cause that
Jellyworld sure is one
slippery place! If you go too fast, you'll slither, and have to
accelerate in the opposite direction!
Go too fast, and you won't be able to dodge those jellies...
Points are awarded for the jellies you eat. You can only gulp down those
jellies that are smaller
than you. Eat enough, and you might grow big, strong, and less easily
controllable some day...
Losing the Game
Simply, you lose once the jelly eats YOU. That's right, bump into one of
the big'uns, and you're
jelly food. Literally.
Dodging becomes more difficult as you grow bigger. However, remember
that if you turn
sideways, the Chomby is narrower, and can sometimes fit between two jellies.
Points are awarded at a 1,5:1 ratio, meaning you get 150np for 100 points.
Replay Value
Well, I don't know, since this game doesn't exist, there's not much to
re-play. If it DID exist, though,
it would be a hoot. Slithering and sliding all over the place, eating
every jelly that's fair game, spells
lots of fun to me. Of course, the trophies wouldn't be so much to look
at, just blobs of jelly, but after
all, the game WOULD be called Jelly Blobs of Doom...
