At Roo Island the biggest and most important attraction (or at least the one that occupies more space on the map) is the Dice a Roo game.
It’s very easy to play this game. You start with a red dice and roll it until you get able to step to a next level. The order of the levels (dice colours is the following):
You start by giving King Roo the small amount of 5 neopoints, which will be added to the Jackpot (which varies a lot during the day. I’ve seen it on 700 np and on the 100k range). As soon as you earn neopoints they will be added to your “pot”. This pot can’t go below zero and you can collect your earnings as soon as you want (but this will make “game over”)
Win – The wins can be normal, tiny, medium, big or huge. They are added to your pot and the amount is random. The earnings tend to rise on later levels.
Lose - Losses can, as wins, be normal, tiny, medium, big or huge.
Nothing Happens - Indeed. How useful.
Present - You will win an item (see below). They just appear on the green, yellow and silver dices.
Level Up - Two things may happen with this dice: level up (yay, you have a different colour dice!) or “almost” level up. This means that you’ll keep playing with this colour until you turn luckier.
Jackpot - Only happens on the silver dice. It will give you the total current jackpot of the game (as stated can be a lot or can be just a little) and *drum roll* the Dice a Roo avatar!
Lose - Two things may happen with this dice: total game over or “almost” total game over. On the second case you can keep playing normally. After you lose press the little sad blumaroo to start over.
You can win several prizes from this game and this is (more than the neopoints) the biggest reason to play it. Normally the presents are Normal Food items as sandwiches and neggs. If you play a lot you can also get random events and, eventually, the jackpot.
It is said that this is one of the easiest luck games on Neopets, so go on a try it. You can play it every time you want and the amount of times you want. For the avatar or for the items playing this once a day does not hurt! ^^
