Introduction
The caption contest is a game in where you are given an image and you have to create something witty to say about it. The wittier your caption is the more likely you are to win. There is a new caption every Tuesday and Thursday, and the winners are announced at the release of the new caption. The winners are given anywhere to 5,000 - 10,000 neopoints, a rare item, and a nifty trophy.

The other great (and probably the most coveted prize) from the caption contest is the caption contest avatar. However, it's not as simple as just winning one caption contest. You have to win the caption contest at the multiples of 100, such as Caption #100, #200, #300, etc.

Tips
There's not much to say about the caption contest, because it really depends on how witty you are, and basically how lucky you are and whether TNT wants to chose you or not. Here are a couple of things that you should not include in your caption if you wish to be chosen:
  • Insults
  • Something completely boring
  • Profanity
  • Dead anything
  • Where's the cream filling?
  • Get ready to rumble
  • Credit card parodies (please we have heard the priceless one tooooo much!)
  • Any reference to the game Marco Polo
  • Any mention of letting the dogs out
  • Anything having to do with not being in Kansas anymore
  • Dude, where's my ______?
  • Houston, we have a problem.
  • Any Neopet saying Waaaaaaazzzzzzzuuuuuuppppp!!!!!
Basically any annoyingly wasted cliches that we've all heard 100 times before. Be original, and stick to neopets-related things. Here are some tips to win:
  • Like I said before, be original. Don't used wasted cliches of the real world.
  • Try to get your caption in as early as possible. It will increase your chances of your win. Sometimes the caption is even released before it is announced on the news, so check here every few hours on Tuesday and Thursday to see if the caption is released early.
  • NNoN usually posts captions a few days or so before they are released on the frontpage, and it's best that you start thinking of your entry them.
  • Don't post your idea for a caption anywhere online! You don't want it stolen!
