Better than you is a weekly competition that starts every Thursday when the News are released.
On this competition you have to win to a certain character on a game where they are very good. Which is another way to say that you have to beat a certain high score on a game. This score is fixed on the beginning of every competition and it's normally very high and hard to achieve. For example, on game avatars the score is always superior to the required for the avatar.
Many times the opponents are discovered before the competition starts. Knowing the character you have a nice idea of what game can it possibly be and train for it before going to the Better than you competition. However, be aware that some times the opponent and the most probable game don't correspond. For example, who would imagine that Kind Altador was an ace at Warf Rescue Team?
Prizes
Only the first 500 people that win the competition are able to win the prizes.
The first ten people will win 20,000 neopoints and a golden trophy.
Winners from 11 to 50 will win 10,000 neopoints and a silver trophy.
The others will win 3,000 neopoints and a bronze trophy.
All of them are also rewarded with an exclusive prize, related to the character that you're playing against, that can be seen here.
Everyone else that participates and does not place on the first 500 places will receive a runner up medal.
Reccomendations
Every week this competition features a different game. I recommend you to find the opponent and train the games that have that character as feature or that are related to them on any manner. If you need help, check our Game Guide List.
Also, try to be online when the news, and consequently the BTY (acronym for Better than You) competition, are released. It will give you a better chance to figure between the first 500, or even win a gold trophy.
