The DF Plot - Day 12
The darkest faerie plot was announced years ago along with the video game release talk, and TNT is finally getting together with making the plot for neopets too. The video game is here and the TCG is here aswell. We're here to give you plot speculation, plot clue info, etc.!
Day 12
This day is harder than the day before so read closely.
At the moment, you are looking for a poor little petpet who needs your help. You can either look in the Perfectly flat rock Quarry, the farm or the docks. Once you found the poor dear, click on it.
- Perfectly flat rock Quarry: Behind a tree on the left of the path near the top of the image.
- Docks: Near the statue of the Kacheek..
- Farms: Behind one of the haystacks.

This poor little Vaeolus seems to have had his flames extinguished, and has been severely injured! Perhaps you should take him to the Archivist. He might know what to do.

The archivist says, "Oh my! What a poor little Vaeolus! I wonder what happened to his owner. He seems very ill!"
Follow the instructions said, and go visit the
Archivist. Of course he's not much of a help, but we know we have to find the Vaelou's owner. First click the Vaelou in the back of the Archivist.

Aww poor thing!

The quiggle cackles at you and demands 30,000 neopoints for the medicine! What a jerk!

Go to the
Alchemy Club and ask for a remedy that will help you with your sick friend. He offers to give you some medicine, for a price you can't afford! Click the item anyway, don't worry, you don't have to pay a single cent.

The Quiggle gives you the potion, and reaches out to take your 30,000 neopoints...
*WHACK!*
The Archivist storms over and swats the Quiggle on the hand. "Hey! No selling of items is allowed in the Archives! Why are you such a troublemaker, anyway?" He mutters angrily and retreats to his office.
Now, return back to the Archivist's place, click on the Valeou and press, "Give Medicine." Even if you check on the Vaelou he is still sick, so you have to find more things to make him better!

Head over to the
Resitive Tomb and click on the beam on the door to open the tomb.
Oh no! An angry, mummified Gelatinous Non-Cube is roaming around the tomb!

You grab some loose bandages from the mummified Gelatinous Non-Cube!
Keep refreshing until you see some loose bandages on the bottom right of the jelly mummy. When you see them click them in order to get some loose bandages!
Once you get the bandages, use them to bandage up the Valeou back at the Archivist and bandage him up.
Go to the Collosseum and find the punch club the same way you did before. Haha, sorry dears. A lot more clicking.

You wander over to the pie table and take some blueberry pie.

Once you find the Punch club, click the pie that the blue skeith and yellow techo are eating on the back table to get it.
Return
back to the
Archivist, and back to your Vaelous. Here's how to heal him:
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ON HEALING THE VAEOLUS
- Visit the Archivist and click on the injured Vaeolus.
- Look at the Vaeolus and check the list below to see what you need to do:
- If it's a green color and its hand is over its mouth: Give Medicine
- If its paw is in front: Bandage
- If its tongue is out and it's drooling: Feed
- If its head is down: Wait
- After doing the first action, watch the clock on the sidebar and wait until it ticks over into a new minute (:00 seconds).
- Once the clock ticks to a new minute, click 'Check in on the Vaeolus'.
- Look at the Vaeolus and click the appropriate action using the list above.
- Continue this process until you get the constellation.
Note: If you do the wrong action, if you accidentally do two actions in one minute, if you accidentally click 'Check in on the Vaeolus' twice in a minute, or if you accidentally skip a minute, your progress on healing the Vaeolus will be reset (in other words, you have to start over).
Remember: You do NOT have to perform an action on the Vaeolus
exactly on the minute (:00 seconds). You can do the action anytime
during the minute, just don't go over to the next minute.
I know this is very confusing and annoying, but if you get it it, you get a constellation so put a smile on! ^^

The Vaeolus seems to be feeling better!

A Skeith knocks on the door just then. "Why, hello there!" he says. "I'm from the Petpet Protection League, and I heard you were nursing this poor little creature back to health. Very helpful of you! I'd like to present you with this certificate on behalf of the PPL!"
Wow, kudos to you if you got to this step! Pampering that silly Vaeolus was hard, and now finally we have found your constellation. To find it, simply click the image of fauna on the certificate. This will get you your next constellation.
Ahah, you know the drill! Return to your Telescope to plot your next constellation. To get your coordinates, Click here. If you want to find the coordinated immediatly Plug them in here. Your finished constellations should look like this [Note you are looking for the gatherer constellation]:

Once you do that return to the Hall of Heroes and look at the ceiling of the Fauna, the Gatherer statue to see the ceiling light up once again! Once you do that, visit the Janitor, Astronomy club, andthe Lenny Archivist.

Janitor: The janitor says, "Wow, it's getting really bright in here with all these gems lighting up on the ceiling. Only two left! I wonder if anything special happens when all of them are lit up. Now that would be something to see."
Astronomy Club: The Astronomy Club members greet you warmly as you enter the room... except the club president, who isn't here.
The Wocky, Korbat, and Buzz approach. "No, we haven't gotten rid of him yet. He left just as we were about to take over. We're gonna wait by the door, and when he comes back in, that's when we'll make our move! Get ready!" They hide by the door, waiting for the club president to return... although it could be a few days.
Looking at the picture, notice the club president is gone! (Yay!)
Archivist: The archivist says, "It was obvious, really -- Fauna, the Gatherer, protector of Petpets. How fortunate that you happened upon that wounded Vaeolus. He finished his recovery while you were gone, and left to find his owner."
He opens a book on his desk to a particular page. "This is an ancient Altadorian spellbook. It doesn't have any history in it that I could find -- no real surprise there -- but it does have some magics which might have been used as... parts of a larger spell, I suppose. Now, this evidence is rather circumstantial, but the kinds of magics in this book are about hiding knowledge and erasing memories." He flips to the inside cover. Some words are hand-written on the front page:
This book donated to the Altadorian Archives by Jerdana
He swallows, looks around nervously, and whispers to you. "You must keep this secret! If Jerdana were to hear of this, well -- she might kill us, or worse! And that's assuming she even remembers what happened -- she might have made sure that the spell affected her own memory, so that she could honestly deny any knowledge of what she did. At least, until the spell was broken, and then..." He shrugs. "Who knows what machinations she's planning?" He coughs. "Assuming that Jerdana even is the one behind this. She might just be a pawn of Altador's, or some other power entirely... We must be vigilant if we are to survive this."
Aye, quite a bit of disturbing news, but let's get to our wonderful book! The new pages 40 - 43 are now available to read.
Chapter 10
The Gatherer
The gentlest heart in our world belongs to Fauna, an Acara whose kindness knows no bounds. Fauna always had a knack for nurturing living things. On the small farm where she grew up, the apples Fauna tended grew to an enormous size and were the most delicious in all the land. Everyone smiled and waved when Fauna walked through town, and Petpets often followed at her heels.
One day, the Acara noticed that the parade of Petpets that usually followed her was nowhere to be seen. Seeing Fauna's confusion, a kind old Usul spoke up. "Sorry, m'dear. That storm last night scared them so badly, they all went running off into the dark. Poor things. I do hope they'll be able to find their way home
Knowing that many predators roamed the edge of town, Fauna immediately set off to find the Petpets, followed by two pitchfork-wielding townsfolk who came along to protect her. After a while, Fauna heard the alarmed squeals of a Snorkle. They rushed toward the noise and found the Petpet cornered by a giant, snarling creature.
The creature glared at Fauna and the others as they approached, letting out a terrifying snarl. Even though they were the only ones armed, the two scared villagers began to back away.
Fauna, however, simply knelt, and held out an apple. The beast growled and bared its teeth, but Fauna did not flinch. The townsfolk gasped as the beast drew close, its jaws just inches from the Acara's face. The creature then opened its mouth and gently took the apple from Fauna's outstretched hand. She smiled and stroked the beast's furry mane. The villagers nearly fell over in shock as the creature began to lick the giggling Acara's face.
The story of gentle Fauna, who could tame the fiercest beast with her kindness and patience, soon travelled far and wide. Then, one day, a tall white Lupe knocked upon her door...

Whew, glad that's over! I wonder what's in store for the next constellation .. *squeaks and hides in corner*
