Places and Related Items

Altador is the city governed by the 12 protectors. It is the place the plot begins at and revolves around. Apparently, the city is very important to the other side of Neopia and needs to be protected... so possibly, it gets invaded. It is much like a city in the Greek and Roman times.

All three of these items are extremely important to Altador, as they represent the city. They are all very defensive against dark magic, and possibly are only used in times in need.

Bogshot is another location in the Darkest Faerie TCG set, and it must also be on the other side of Neopia. It is home to Sophie the Swamp Witch.

Bogshot is going through a plague and several other hardships and these berries are the only thing that can save the city from the plague.

The 12 Protectors

  1. There are several rulers of Altador, King Altador being the main ruler. Dark faeries are most likely hated in this protected town, and King Altador does not want to give them any chances at all. He is Tormund's guide in the game.

  2. Jerdana is very important in the Darkest Faerie plot as she is the person who imprisons the Darkest Faerie. The Darkest Faerie is located at the bottom of Maraqua with Jerdana's Orb around her neck. But who knows? It could... slip off. Anyway, she's the Sorcerer of the Twelve Protectors and her magic has protected Altador for a long time. Jerdana is imprisioned by the Darkest Faerie when the the Darkest Faerie realizes that Jerdana is not under her spell. She helps Roberta through her magical training and is a guide to her throughout the game. She sacrifices her life to help her. Jerdana gives Roberta an amulet to protect her against the Darkest Faerie's spell.

  3. Florin is not a very important or well-known protector. He is the guardian of the farmlands and the forests.

  4. Siyana is local faerie of Altador. If you haven't noticed, she's a light faerie and is one of the Five Legends of Altador - one of the groups of characters that protect Altador. She will probably be of help in a war with the Darkest Faerie.

  5. Gordos is another one of the Five Legends. He is in charge of the treasury and collects taxes. He is in charge of the money district. (Hah - run away from the fat Skeith dude, he's collecting taxes!) Hem.

  6. Fauna is another one of the Five Legends. She has a gentle heart and often cares about petpets. She is the head of the park district. She helps Tor complete some of his squire tasks, which involve 'saving' some Miamice (in the game).

  7. The Grarrl Gladiator is another one of the Five Legends, and is head of the Arena District. We've seen him in several plots and apparently, he's a great warrior. He helps Tor train to become a knight in the game.

  8. Kelland is another one of the Five Legends, and is head of the Bazaar District. It's a bit crazy to think he's a... thief!? He gives Tor the amulet to protect him from the Darkest Faerie's spell (in the game). It's a bit ironic that he's getting attacked by bandits when Tor saves him. It's ironic because he's a thief.

  9. Psellia has been well-known in Neopia for a long time, helping in Meridell. She even has her own collectable card. She doesn't come down to the world often, but when she does, it's only when the world is in dire need.

  10. Marak isn't very well-known. We don't really know much except he's protector of the seas around Altador.

  11. Sasha isn't very well-known. Um...she dances the evil away! (Lame, we know.) We'll see more about this protector soon.

  12. The Darkest Faerie was one of the protectors. "Wait a minute," you say. "The Darkest Faerie was a PROTECTOR!?" Yes. She was a protector. She was one of the protectors of Altador, but the other 11 noticed her dark ways and thoughts and banished her. For all these years she's been wanting revenge. When she left, she put a dark, dark curse over Altador and imprisioned the strongest of the 12 protectors.

The Good

Tor is one of the main heroes in the game along with Roberta. The story starts out in Meri Acres Farm with Tor doing small chores around his farm. His father asks him to do a big job. To bring a package to Meridell. This is when the story starts. Once he brings the package he becomes a squire and soon, joins forces with Roberta to save Neopia!

Roberta of Brightvale will be very important to Altador... considering she's one of the main characters. She longs to get out of the sheltered existence that she lives in at Brightvale, and wants to see beyond that. One day, she finally leaves. Together, Roberta and Tor come together to fight the dark forces of the Darkest Faerie and save Altador. She has her faithful Uni - Solarin, who is one of the best white Unis in hold of King Hagan. He is in charge of making sure Roberta is safe and being a messenger between Faerieland and Brightvale. He saves Roberta several times during the Darkest Faerie Plot.

Other Stuff

Tainted might be a new color coming up in Meridell, and it seems like a darkish, Darigan-ish color. Tainted might be the curse of the Darkest Faerie, and will only be fixed and back to normal once the curse is lifted.

The Bad - Her Servants

When the Darkest Faerie takes over, she takes over each world slowly. Dark, purple clouds hover above each world where evil monsters breeding on the nightmares of people come from. However - one of the Darkest Faerie's servants are each connected to the clouds. So once you defeat them, the clouds disappear. Here are all of them:

The Juppie Plant Monster inhabits the Shadowglen Woods. He's not much of a toughie, so not to worry about this guy. He's got a few thorny parts here and there, but overall he's all talk.

Kastraliss, whom we know from Defenders of Neopia, is the Darkest Faerie's favorite pet. He inhabits Bogshot and has them suffer a horrible plague by making the berries they need impossible to get...

The Dark Knight is another one of those wimps who are totally overrated. He resides over Market Town where he makes the taxes go up. He gets tired very easily, and has many weak spots.

The Bad - Her Servants II

Here are her servants that were paid, or just scared of her to stop Tor and Roberta from stopping her evil plans. Here they are:

The Darkest Faerie's most loyal servants are the three Dark Faerie Sisters: Malice, Spite, and Vanity. They are extremely powerful and each has their own specialty in casting spells.

The Assassin is hired by the Darkest Faerie to kill or stop Tormund and Roberta in any way possible. Of course, he is unsuccessful because he underestimates the power of the 'children'.

The Werelupe King steals Illusen's Charm, and this is when the whole plot starts where Tor has to get the charm back and bring it back to Illusen. That's not very easy though when trying to kill tons of other monsters and having the Gelert Assassin cutting your one step forward back by two.

King Altador, or the 'Mysterious Knight' as Tor knew him, was killed by Gnarfas when Tor went to go save Illusen. Tor then wanted revenge, and had to kill him. This is what the card is depicting.

The Bad - Her Servants III

These are the creatures who are tainted with the Darkest Faerie's evil.
